Péter Szijjártó Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary payed a working visit to Cluj-Napoca
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó payed an official visit to Romania on 30th August, 2017 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodor Meleșcanu. The Minister met with President of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania Hunor Kelemen, after which he held talks with Foreign Minister Meleșcanu, Deputy Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, Speaker of Romanian Parliament Liviu Dragnea and Chairman of the Senate Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu.
Following the long tradition, the Hungarian Embassy in Bucharest hosted members of the Imre Mikó College of Law and Economic Studies and the Jurátus Circle, which represents the Hungarian speaking law students from Cluj-Napoca.
On 7 February 2017 Minister of State for Cultural and Science Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary István Íjgyártó had a discussion with Minister of State of the bilateral and strategic affairs of the Euro-Atlantic region of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs George Ciamba.
